A small Sample

Post  Spartansteen on Wed Jun 25, 2008 2:28 pm

A small sample of how we could attract more members to the club would be an advertising banner to go across the homepage. I can produce multiple banners different colours etc ( club colours if i knew what they were) but it is currently to match the homepage red, black and white.

Webmaster/users rate it or slate it e.g. please leave feedback.
If the feedback is good i will contact Bill to volunteer running the site e.g. advertisements, maintenance.

On the other hand I dont like the banner, the writing is hard to read and the colours are yuk

Simple and Bold thats the way to go but to be honest I dont think the site needs a banner.

I'd also not use a website to design ya banners if you do make one looks naff with an advert on for another website.

please dont take offence to my comments or be offended....
i personally find it very hard to read being outline text....
its a medical fact that text on a red background or red text on its own is one of the hardest to read for any one with less than perfect vision.... myself bieng one of them.....

too many years watching a float is my excuse .... oh and i spose the detached retina might not have helped

Like i said i can change the colours to suit your needs (e.g. Club Colours) and that advertising banner will be gone when i do it properly with the VIp persmisison of the site (takes out there advert banner) it was just a free sample, i will also make some more visual banners if you wish. On the otherhand it would proably cost us about 10-20 year for the site to be advertised on google.

Any queries or suggestions please sned me a private message!
